Soldiers' Angels

My experience as a volunteer photographer with Soldiers' Angels has been one of both contribution and continuous growth. The intentional pursuit of capturing the best moments, brightest smiles, and meaningful situations brings me a deep sense of fulfillment, both professionally and personally.

In every interaction, I donate my time, some resources, and talents, but I receive so much more. For that, my gratitude to every military member, every veteran with their families, every volunteer colleague, and leaders of Soldier's Angels in this amazing experience.

I'v joined Soldiers Angle because I wanted to do something meaningful with my time. I want to give effort to make a change. As I'm anthropology student I want to work with people who are in need. There is no greater place for me to help people then voulenteering.

Always friendly staff who operate in unison as a well-oiled machine each and every time I attend, and no matter how many vehicles are in line to be loaded with donated food.

I would like to say I had a non-fasting lab on 13 February at North Central Federal Clinic. I was so surprised to see Angels Food Network offering healthy goodies.

I'm on the healthy request to sign up and I seem to have a problem with the "date of birth" Do I scroll thru till I reach my date of birth or is there an easier way?

i love all the help I've been getting from soldiers angels. the food has helped keep the pantry at least half full.it would be nice to get some more verity of food, meat, veg, dairy products. the people that work in the Denver area are just great to deal with.love all of the people here

It sounds like a great program. We signed up for it because our local food pantry doesn’t give a lot of food and it doesn’t last very long.But the first month we weren’t able to make it because of the weather. They had a reschedule, but we were never called on the waitlist. And then the next month we were no longer eligible because my husband passed away. Sounds like a great program, but my only wish is that the program helped out veteran families once the veteran passed away as well. Because there’s just not enough resources

I found out about Soldiers Angels from another soldier in Transitional housing after being homeless for eight months. I have continued utilizing this resource and it has helped me so much. Even more so when I took custody of one of my grandchildren 3.5 years ago. Everyone is ALWAYS friendly, happy to see me and always let's me know that I matter and make a difference. I was hesitant at first, as we all are, as Veterans I am sure. We are so independent, and I am glad I took the chance and took advantage of this resource. THANK YOU Soldiers Angels!!

I'm so very grateful or this program. Not only does it help with food I feel supported and cared for. Like many I suffer with ptsd and it's affects, isolation, and depression. The volunteers are so friendly thank me for my service and make me feel like people care personally about me. I look forward to the food bank each month for the food and comeradrie

They provide food and comfort items and make sure we aren't forgotten! Everyone is so friendly.

I signed up for Soldiers’ Angels Christmas event as well as the virtual baby shower. I was beyond blessed with congratulatory cards and gifts! Soldiers’ Angels made such a positive impact in our lives during tough times! Thank you so much Soldiers’ Angels!

The programs offered may seem small in comparison, but the impact is HUGE. I love giving back to our nation's unsung heroes, and Soldiers' Angels allows me the opportunity to do just that. From virtual baby showers, to food distributions, to socks and blankets, to cards of support, just to name a few, this organization provides an outlet for all of us to play our part in blessing our heroes.

I have volunteered with this organization for over three years now. The impact that they make in the veterans' community with those individuals with food insecurities is simply amazing. Seeing the faces of our nation's heroes Facing hardships and or homelessness when they receive food at the monthly distribution events, Seeing the relief in their eyes tells me I'm working with an organization doing its part to make sure we help out as many veterans as we can.

I love this organization! They are truly amazing. They were there for me through my whole pregnancy and whether they knew it or not I needed everything they offered. I truly am grateful for everything that was done for me .

I volunteer several times and it was a humble experience I met veterans like my self and the people in charge of the distribution of food treated us well everyone on the staff was professional and super nice I plan on volunteering in the future love the organization doing good things here in dallas .

I am a volunteer and have been for several months. I continue to volunteer because it feels good to give back, especially to my fellow Veterans. The services that Soldiers' Angles provides helps our community and our veterans. I see the smile on the veterans faces as they drive through the line, and it does something to me. With the economy the way it is, they are helping a lot of our veterans who may only have this giveaway to look forward to every month, as far as food. Keep up the good work Soldiers Angels.

I can never thank this amazing organization for all they’ve done to assist my family and I. 2020-2024 were some of the worst years we experienced as a family. So trying to financially bounce back from a divorce, where I was responsible and the primary for all bills, had left me in a bind as I’m trying to catch up on everything past due while maintaining my livelihood. But then this amazing organization in clutch for Christmas. I would have maybe been able to get my girls and granddaughter 1-2 gifts total and they wouldn’t have been the best if I’m being truly transparent. Soldiers Angels came through and provided gifts for my girls and granddaughter that actually filled up the bottom of our Christmas tree. To see my girls faces light up, especially after the year they experienced, and enjoying the amazing gifts is something I will never forget. My wife has cancer. 2024 was a rough year for us. We signed up for the adopt a family Christmas event, and a generous sponsor provided my children Christmas gifts I couldn't afford to buy them.

I a Marine vet and I hada really rough end of the year last year. I found Soldiers Angels and applied for help for christmas support. I cant begin to express how much that helped. I dont like to ask for help and as a Marine we really don't ask for help. This was such a blessing. I haven't used any other services but they allowed my kids to continue to believe in the Christmas spirit. The kindness of others is still out there. Thank you so much.

Soldiers' Angels has helped me tremendously with their internship program. On a daily basis, I see first-hand the great things they do for veterans, servicemembers and their families. This year was tough , I'm 100 percent disabled, 1 child in college, 2 in high school and 1 in elementary. Paying for driver training for 2 teenage daughters while recovering from. My 7th spinal surgery. I reached out to soldiers angels and my family was graciously adopted. They went above and beyond what was expected. My children were wide eyed and smiling and the stress of the year was gone and only happiness and memories will be remembered this year.

Soldiers angels Make it extremely difficult to sign up for anything. I was in close contact with a person from their company and their website was down the entire time I was supposed to be signing up for My family and I to be adopted as a veteran. This lady I've been speaking to knew this and once the website was up, it was like a holiday miracle, signing up to be adopted was conveniently closed. The lady basically told me you're just out of luck sorry about you have a good day and ignored me. That was it. They will not let me sign up for anything and there's been several times here where I've not been able to sign up because their website is junk. And even though I was in close contact with this lady, until the site conveniently went down every time I tried to sign up,everything that I try to sign up for is always," well we're sorry about your luck". I've begged for assistance and been denied almost instantly every time.

I have been a Soldiers' Angels volunteer for 6 years. Sending care packages and letters to our deployed military personnel is one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. The organization has many, many programs to support current military and veterans. The Soldiers' Angels charity is well run and is quickly responsive to the needs of our service members and veterans as world events unfold.

I was honored to help with an event in February the people running the operation are all professionals and outstanding individuals.

I work with Soldiers Angels in Denver with the food drive the first of every month. It is alot of fun and we get to help alot of vets. Also I have sent in a few names to the card division that sends out cards to sick vets or ones that need encouragement and they have been wonderful. The people that have received the cards were so thankful that someone thought about them.

I’m a 102-year-old veteran of WWII. On my last three birthdays I have received cards and letters from Soldier’s Angels all over the country. That flood of greetings was wonderful! Soldiers' Angels clearly consistently lives out their passion for serving our nation's military personnel. Although I never served, I have tremendous respect for how they go about what they do in finding unique ways to reach out and touch those who do or have. I am also impressed by the very high percentage of their donations that go directly to their intended audience, rather than having a large chunk used for administrative and fundraising purposes. It really means a lot that nearly all of the money my wife and I donate to Soldiers' Angels goes directly to those they are serving.

Very friendly and kind participants, welcomed with smiles. Only issue was times are during business hours which makes rushing to location while trying to find work and at work difficult. Also contacting individuals to know exact location of distribution was difficult

This is an awesome program! I don’t know what I would have done without it.

I am the caregiver to my veteran son who proudly served our country. After 12 years of service he returned home. I did not understand his behavioral issues or even know what was happening. I reached out to my case worker who referred me to Soldiers Angels. My experience with them has no price. They are their 24/7 during my times of need.

Our experience with this program has been nothing but amazing and joyful! Without this program we wouldn’t have been able to provide not only a holiday meal for our family but gift’s either. This program has truly made our family extremely grateful and happy and blessed with the generosity of everyone involved. We are forever grateful for each and everyone who helps to make families like ours able to enjoy Christmas and provide food and gifts for our children! They are absolutely amazing!! An experience we will never forget!!

While I appreciate the person who helped us for the holidays, the agency Soldiers Angels is very unuser friendly and is extremely unwilling to help veterans when their systems malfunction, prime example their system allows people to sign up or attempt to sign up for events after they have met their quota fulfillment, I have experienced numerous times of being able to go to link fill it all out and then click submit only to be told event is full,but if they are full veteran should not be able to click link to sign up and they refuse to help when reached in reference to the issue, so if I could give zero stars I would be cause this is one of many problems this agency has had over past decade with this type of event and many others, they do not truly help but want the recognition without factual help and assistance. Again I appreciate the person who helped our family over holidays, but they are not the organization but a volunteer outside of main org, so them yes but org too many horrific experiences from them over past 9-10 yrs.

My brother died in Viet Nam, 4 days after his 20th birthday. I was 10 yrs old. I volunteered with Soldiers Angels to honor him. I get joy knowing I’m making a difference and hopefully giving a little joy or comfort to someone who is giving up so much for me.

Had the opportunity to volunteer for the first time. Help is needed. Entirely too much work for the limited volunteers who show to do the work. Spread the word, in order to continue to serve others, HELP!

The support that Soldiers' Angels provides really makes a difference and the flexibility is fantastic! There are many types of opportunities to support veterans and active duty service members virtually or in person, with time commitments as little as a few minutes.

Soldiers' Angels came into my life at a time when I wanted to give back and pay it forward. It allows you to "work" from home, which makes it easier for me. Because there are so many different ways to give, you can give as little or as much time to the program as you want at any point of time in your journey within the organization. If you don't have time, money, and in kind donations are accepted and appreciated.

The feedback from the recipients of my efforts has often brought me to tears because it is always heartfelt and overwhelming.

They give so much for us, this is an amazing way to give back to our active and retired military members as well as caregivers and families of the military members.

What a great organization for veterans in need, especially. I really needed the help and I was able to pair with a really great donor. The children were especially happy and surprised bc they thought they weren’t gonna receive what they wanted bc we have been so focused on moving! Thank you Soldier’s Angels we really are happy to be a part of such a great organization helping military families.

Growing up around servicemembers, veterans, and their families, meant I was always home on any military base no matter where that had been. Even today, at 61, I still consider myself a Navy Brat and any military base my hometown. The opportunity to continue being a "good neighbor" to today's military community is one that Soldier's Angels provides to me on many different levels and I know from the cards, letters, and emails that I've received thanking me how much every card, every letter of gratitude, every care package, and any of the myriad other ways we support them, means to the recipients. There are many worthy organizations out there who seek to support our servicemembers and veterans, but Soldier's Angels is in a class of excellence all by itself.

My hats off to all the volunteers that give of their time to make this possible! I really appreciate Martin-Marietta for supporting us Vets! Everyday is a struggle getting by, but with the Lords guidance and your support I can keep on!

It was amazing. This event was my first rodeo. I wanted to attend so I can let the
Veterans that comes to our facility know about it, my experience with the process, and if it was worth the trip.

It is very much worth the trip. Now I share my experience with them in hopes that they too will experience it.

What a wonderful organization. My husband is a vet and we went for food support. The people giving out the food were warm and kind. Thanked my husband for his service. He felt seen. The amount of food was generous !! The distribution area was organized and laid out well.

soldiers angel far exceeded expectations. They gave me a lots of needed food. the process was a little complicated at first because I didn't understand in the beginning.

Wonderful volunteers. The line runs very smoothly. The food donations are exceptional. Everyone involved at the donation site is very friendly and extremely helpful.

I want to thank all the volunteers at Soldiers Angels. This is the first time I've participated in The Turkey Drop, and I was amazed at all the food that was donated and very much needed and appreciated. I didn't know what we were going to do for Thanksgiving. Bless you all.

I can't get the instructions right I am a disabled veteran 68yo female with cognitive function problems. The constant registering procedure is too confusing for me to follow. I have missed out on the last two and will miss again this month due to not understanding procedure . I live 45miles away and have waited twice for up to three hours only to be turned away . Edit it is now November and she has lost her Mother and Husband recently due to long term illnesses. She cared for both of them by her self for 20yrs and 3 yrs respectfully. She now only gets One meal a day 5 days a week from HENRY COUNTY MEALS ON WHEELS.

HOW IS THIS HAPPENING AGAIN?

WHAT A LIFE SAVER!!! I am retired Army 10th Mountain did a tour during the surge in 2007 to Iraq. My wife was in the hospital with our 3rd child pregnant spent the whole time in the hospital with hyperemesis. I have never seen anyone so sick in my life. We lived far away from family and had no support and this was unplanned and soldier angels literally put us on a list and people helped us get everything we needed, complete strangers and then after the baby was born we got so many cards just congratulating us on our new addition the support was amazing. Top it all off they even helped me make christmas for my kids happen because CHAMPVA in the state of FL is horrible and no one will work with CHAMPVA so we had to pay for everything out of pocket and i was stressing for christmas that year but another Soldier Angel stepped in and said "I got you!" such generosity thank you Soldier Angels!!!!

An unexpected event turned my life upside down leaving me in a financial
situation where instead two to feed now there are nine. Soldiers Angels wasted no time providing enough food to feed my son, his wife, and grandkids. I am so very appreciative to this organization. Thank you.

Soldiers Angels always right on time for my family, we are able to eat and not made to feel like we are less than people, we get greeted with a thanks for our service and see you next time. I am truly grateful for their service to help our military community.

After I had Covid, had a stoke and lost my job, everything changed. I never thought this would happen to me. I went from Living to exiting and was underwater in paying my bills and putting food on the table. I discovered Soldiers' and Angels while coming for an appointment at Lake Baldwin Medical Clinic I made some inquiries and researched the program on line...and found it to be Top of the Line. I truly believe it's a God Sent Program that reaches out to Every Veteran in need and extends it arms not only locally, but to those Veterans Serving Internationally as well. The food distribution program is well thought out and extremely organized. The food, vegetables, fruit and meat are fresh and appear to be well handled throughout the process. That speaks volumes and resonates a true Caring Spirit. The quantity provided really helps me and my family and reduces our stress level, knowing that we can't afford to buy these quality items on our own. Thank you so much Soldier's and Angels.

They are great at offering opportunities to support our troops!

Soldiers’ Angels is an excellent organization dedicated to showing deployed soldiers they are admired and never forgotten. It sends packages and letters from its many dedicated volunteers to respond to needs of these soldiers overseas or far from home. Soldiers and their leaders write Soldiers’ Angels back thanking this organization for remembering them and expressing great appreciation for responding to requests or just sending letters of hope to let them know that they’re cared about and supported! Kudos to this fine group! Hoo-rah!!

This is my number one favorite charity.

I've supported Soldiers' Angels for two or three years. They do a world of good. I particularly like it that you can be as involved -- or uninvolved -- as you want to be. I've participated in adopting a soldier's family for Christmas, which involves talking to them about their individual wants and needs and then having the pleasure of supplying them. You can also adopt a deployed soldier. You can go the their Amazon page and choose the items you'd like to donate. Or you can just give a donation.

The operation is run in a professional manner. When I've needed to communicate, as with the Adopt-a-Family program, they've gotten back to me quickly and been very helpful.

Donate to them! Work with them! Follow them! You'll be glad you did.

I've had the pleasure of firsthand experience with Soldier's Angels in San Antonio. Military City USA! I was at Ft. Sam Houston the other day and saw love, caring and charity at work. There was a long line of cars lined up by the Post Office of military families needing food, co-sponsored by the SA Food Bank, another Angel! Volunteers were handing out bags of a variety of needed foods! Everyone was very appreciative, and these Volunteers loved doing this! Folks, please, let's help our fellow neighbors in need. There are so many ways Soldiers' Angel helps other than food. Please donate whatever you can to this great American organization and cause close to where you live. We have! Today was the food distribution at the Jewell VA clinic here in Denver and as usual it was a wonderful and very much appreciated event
Us old soldiers look forward to seeing each other and receiving much needed groceries. We receive a lot of great things and for some of us we actually really need the help. A lot of us have SNAP BENEFITS ( food stamps) but after the COVID FUNDS were stopped in March there is no way we can eat through the month. ($195.00) Anyway we love seeing each other and the supplies are so very much appreciated.

Before finding out about Soldiers Angels, we had very little food, and sometimes went without food for a day or two. Sometimes eating pancakes or cans of corn. This has made the biggest impact on our lives!! My wife is very ill and we have alot of medical bills, she is always at the doctors or in the hospital, she is not on my VA health plan. Just social security.
Everyone there is so kind, always smiling and saying hi. No one makes you feel like you are begging for food, the food drive is always very positive and organized.
God Bless every one that is involved in getting the food and all the volunteers.

I am an American Veteran who needed a little extra help with food for me and my wife. When my caseworker told me about this organization on how they help provide food for Veterans and their families, I did not hesitate in saying yes that I needed the help. i also found out that their are a lot of Veterans who do not even know about this kind of help. So I have been telling them. I feel that this is one of the best food help programs that I know. My wife and i thank you all for your help. And I'm blessed to be a US ARMY VETERAN.

Some months are different than others in my home. Whenever income is tight, it's a privilege that I have peace of mind that I won't have to be worried about food for the month. Also the few time I had experienced the food drive all the volunteers seemed to be happy to be there.

I signed up and I have been waiting , yet never received a message about food distribution, even though every time I try to sign up it says that I am already sign up

We have been so blessed to have been able to participate in these food distributions. However, for the past four months we have been unable to register due to irregular dates and only a 15 minute window to register. We have tried setting a reminder alarm but then the day is changed and we miss.

I came to pick up food A few times but in the last few months, I no longer get notification and when you say I on the list or waiting list, that's the last O ever heard . I guess you only select cause it seems like I can get any help.

The Soldiers' Angels nonprofit organization is heaven-sent for me and my family. Due to the pandemic, there was a loss of income in the family and with prices skyrocketing I can't afford the food products that I need. By having Soldiers' Angels I can save a little money to put toward my bills. And not stress about what my family and I will have to eat. By having Soldiers' Angels our minds are no longer stressed about what we are going to do to survive. I also enjoy seeing the positive spirits of the volunteers it makes me proud that I served and that some civilians really do care about us soldiers. God bless you Soldiers' Angels.

So thankful for everything that my family of 8 received. This was our first time attending Soldiers Angels and they made the whole experience feel welcoming and inviting. The process was very quick and easy which is great as a veteran suffering from anxiety. Thank you again for everything.

Being on disability and getting very little food stamps each month means that I don't have much money to pay bills, and rent and have enough money to take care of personal items, car insurance, and have money for gas and to last for the rest of the month just in case.

This food distribution helps with not having to buy the food that I would have to if it were not for them giving me this food. It helps me every month have food for the whole month and save what little money I can each month.

This is absolutely amazing group who love our veterans and families of....

I have been honored to serve as a volunteer at Soldiers Angels on many occasions, and each time it has better than the last. The management & staff are amazing,and work at a very high energy level. They are passionate about their mission, and are there to support the volunteers. I have never heard anyone associated with this group ever complain,even when the cards are stacked against them. Our military across the world and here at home benifit from their efforts, I know of no other organization that is more commited to helping our Veterans.

I love being able to volunteer from the comfort of my own home. Due to Covid, volunteering options became obsolete. I love being able to support those who are serving our country in a convenient manner. Any time I need help or have questions, the team leaders jump in with a quick response. Started involvement with Soldiers Angels at the start of the pandemic with letter writing. I've found it very rewarding knowing am making a difference for those who sacrifice daily for all of us(althogh not expected, have receive 2 notes back saying how much the notes meant to them). Have since gotten my colleagues involved with the letter writing, as well as stockings at Christmas,,sock drives and more.
Soldiers "Angels" is the perfect description for what the non-profit means for our enliste3d and veterans.
Am proud to be a part of such a worthwhile organization.

Soldiers' Angels is the Real Deal. They are there for Active Duty Servicemembers, veterans, and families. The amount of goods that leave the HQ warehouse is phenomenal. It ranges from care packages to Christmas Stockings to books to coffee to socks - all going to people who may not receive them from friends or family.

Soldiers' Angels truly honors those who serve and those who have served. Their outreach and volunteer programs are outstanding. I don't live in a state with a Soldiers' Angels facility but because of their life-changing work and how easy it is to assist, I always put them first in my charity participation.

Pre-COVID I volunteered with this organization distributing food to veterans and their family members for about a year. Most enjoyable volunteer work I've ever done.

In June 2022, I found what I was looking for. I wanted to show my appreciation for our military on a more personal level. After reading about all the programs Soldiers’ Angels provide, I joined two teams. I have enjoyed the expertise of the team leaders down to the caring, ever thoughtful volunteer Angels. I am so blessed to have found this organization.

Best program ever. M a transitioning active duty soldier to dv and we were moving. The program helped us get adopted and the necessary help during the holidays. I would sign up to be an angel just so I can pay it forward

Very great organization. My family was helped out for the holidays and adopted by an Angel and provided means for food and gifts for my kids. There are also other programs that are very helpful as well depending on your current situation they have a variety of areas of support or resources to get you help you need. As a veteran it’s great to find organizations that still help

I am so happy that this program exist. I really thought I would have to disappoint my daughters this year but thankfully the soldiers angels were there. Pictures were too big to upload.

I was involved in a hit-and-run on September 17, 2022. I suffered a broken left leg and I have been out of work since the time of the accident. During the course of my injury I was also diagnosed with myeloma cancer.
I don’t know when I will be able to return to work. Jerica Cline does not work , she is a Stay-at-Home mother, who takes care of our daughter Nirvana. Without this program we would not have to the resources to provide a decent Christmas for our daughter. Thank you. Soldier's Angels has gone far above any expectations that I had expected. I've always been treated graciously at any of the Mobile Food Distribution Events that I have attended. I do not always need to go so it's good that I don't have to keep going every month to keep on the registry.

Soldiers program definitely help me and my family with food to eat

I sent a veteran friend, single mom with 2 teen boys, to the site to register for food distribution. She received an email with her appointment time. She went to the place, waited in line, showed her id and was told to proceed to the next extremely long line. This was on her lunch break. After nearly an hour. She gets all the way to the front of the line where they check her id again and tell her she does NOT meet the income requirements??? She was also told she should of received an email or phone call to which she received neither, and pulled out her phone to double check. They asked her to get out of line and leave. Like really??? This could be a solid program IF they did didn’t jerk people around! No call was made, no email was sent. She took extra time from her lunch to wait in line to be flat out denied of food, which is atrocious imho. The way I see it is if people are not informed that they do not qualify, AFTER being led to believe that they do with an appointment time emailed to them, and they show up….how could people be turned away? That was not her discrepancy, it was on Soldier’s Angels. Today they were not Angelic. My friend was embarrassed and left, in addition to 2 cars in front of her and the car behind her. And before the argument of people showing up and not qualifying comes up, let me be clear…this was not the case. My friend was led to believe she was eligible, and she had a need. All that was overlooked in such an ugly fashion. Shame on you Soldiers Angels.

Soldier’s Angels is a very helpful program when you just cannot afford to provide food for the rest of the month for your family. It allows me to be stress free for the rest of the month and have money left to get by for the rest of month or pay on some other bill and not worry about having food to provide for my family. Very great full for this program! Thank you Soldier’s Angels!

Such an awesome and amazing group of giving people. I've never seen a frown on anyone's face. Every month this organization has helped offset rising cost of food and other things going on. The freshness of the vegetables and fruits are unreal. Everything given is a blessing to help your household. Please do no hesitate to sign up and attend any soldiers Angels event! It is well worth it and definitely a blessing to meet "angels" sent from GOD above.

All the staff and the volunteers are always so friendly and have positive attitudes. You can tell that they feel great by giving. I myself volunteer with several events and it is just as much a pleasure to volunteer as it is to receive blessings from this awesome organization. They are truly angels.

What a blessing you guys are. With the cost of food these days it is hard on us. Everything helps these days, especially after retiring. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Love to all who help.
Awaiting the new message for next month

My daughter and I joined Soldiers' Angels on the Angel Baker team. My daughter makes and sends homemade treats once a month for deployed soldiers. Soldiers' Angels is incredibly well organized....instructions are clear, the website is very easy to navigate. The organization has so many wonderful ways to support soldiers, so we have also joined Baby Brigade and hope to adopt a family this Christmas.

As a disabled veteran I knew the challenges forthcoming and when I started volunteering in 2018 I knew this was something I would love to do. Giving back to veterans means the world to me and Soldier's Angel's has done that for me. I'm now on an internship with Soldier's Angel's and loving every minute. Thank you for giving this veteran an opportunity to make a difference.

I have volunteered several times, but I am an 80 year old man and the lifting and bending is something I can do without. I have not been to the last to events, but I have a MS degree in education. Surely there is something else I can do. Would love to help.

Being a Soldiers Angel has been very rewarding to me, knowing I'm helping and supporting both our active duty deployed military members and our veteran community.

I keep trying to register for Atlanta and have had no luck the last few months. It keeps saying it's closed, but yet I got an email that said to register.

Coming from a very large military family, we are use to extending any help possible. After doing a bit of research, I chose Soldiers' Angels as an avenue due to it's ability to do groundwork, have a centralized location and be widespread regarding all branches. They're very thorough with requirements and instructions and give numerous opportunities to help our amazing military. Thank you and keep up the great work!

After 3 years of my wife and myself not having a stable place to live we finally recieved our new appartment. The blessings you gifted us helped make our appartment our home we can never truly voice how much the little things mean especially when you've lived without for so long.

It gives me great pleasure, as a veteran and US Citizen, to give to our service men/women. Each of who has chosen to unselfishly serve our Country! Thank You and God Bless You All!!

This organization is awesome and it's a top rated charity! To help make our soldiers know that they are appreciated and not forgotten is an honor, and they are so appreciative of our efforts. The organization was started by General Patton's grandniece, who had a son in the army. He told her he was one of the few who received care packages, so she and friends and relatives started sending them to all the soldiers in his platoon. Now there are thousands of "angels" all over the world showing we care about our soldiers. Please join us!

The event was awesome. I want to thank all the people that made this possible. I was in a real tight spot when it came to food. This drive helped my family so much. I got emotional and left in tears because there are people still out here that do care and do good for others. Thank you all so much. Please continue doing what you are doing. This helped so many families in need.

Thank you Soldiers Angels …the name itself says it all because you all are definitely angels!!! I have received so much love from this organization and just recently in my family time of need the most with a sick family member. All the angels supported and provided . I will always be grateful and support this organization. I will definitely spread the word to keep them going.

This event not only allows us to feed our family but gives us great camaraderie as veterans.

After my husband retired from the Navy, we really felt that we needed to help the Military community in some way, as while on active duty, we ourselves needed help making ends meet, thus, the need to give-back. (fyi: Enlisted families actually get paid far less than what civilians might & often think)
So, after researching many other charitable causes, the one thing that kept us coming back was: Soldiers Angels encourages and gladly accepts handmade items. Along with the several areas of ways to support the Military and Veteran communities, as there's literally "something for everyone" . It's truly been a blessing to use our God-given talents for others. They do have ways to give monetary donations, however that is never used as a pressure point on the Volunteers. For myself personally, it's been a fantastic way to make sewn items, handmade cards, etc. Oh!! And there's the Holiday Stocking opportunity, that is so FUN to participate in, not to mention a WONDERFUL way to get into the Christmas spirit!!
Bottom Line:
If anyone is genuinely interested in getting involved with a reputable charity, as a Volunteer for over 3 years, I highly recommend trying it out!!

Awesome blessing, little bit of everything. A cookware set with REAL silverware, an entire bedding set for a full size bed, cleaning/bathroom supplies, and a few odds & ends to top it off. Sandy was super helpful when I spoke to her about receiving the boxes. All I had to do was submit my application & my VA caseworker helped out from there. Didn't cost me a dime :-) I had never heard of Soldiers' Angels before, so I'm very thankful for the gifts & supplies they gave me. And thanks again Sandy for a smooth delivery.

Soldier’s Angel sent me all the essentials I needed for my new home. After suffering the effects of homelessness for years this was a welcoming gift. They have alleviated the anxiety of spending money on the necessities I needed for my home. Again I am truly grateful they are taking care of people with great compassion.

I am a homeless disabled Veteran who has been denied treatment due being separated from the military under dishonorable. It has been so hard to get help and I have struggled with mental illness since I was beaten and shot while serving in the Marine Corp. I was forced to sign away my rights for benefits and my cousin has been trying to help me but she has issues herself from the military. This food distribution is helping me survive. I am grateful that this food distribution does not see honorable, dishonorably, mental ill, physically handicapped but you all see men and women who served our country so all could be free and to provide any of us food that is in need is a blessing. I am so grateful and dont know what I would do without it at this point

I'm so excited by my letter writing. It not only reminds me of funny stories in my past I can share with the soldiers, sometimes they write me back!! I always watch for the mailman now because I never know when I will get a kind note, letter or beautiful postcard!! This project really gives me a reason to get up & get going each day. I LOVE it!!!

Soldiers Angels is an incredible nonprofit organization! I have been a member for many years and if I ever had a question, someone was always quick to answer.
Plus, I truly enjoy helping and supporting our military in many ways. Sometimes I get a response to a CARE package or a simple letter and it really makes my day special.
Soldiers Angels supports our military in many different ways. There is something for everyone in this organization!

I am a retired hobbyist and found Soldiers’ Angels on Fox and Friends Weekend. I didn’t know such an organization existed and am so thankful I found SA. The support from the Admin team is the best I’ve ever seen. And the support, ideas and suggestions from my fellow Angels is unrivaled. I’m learning more every day about the number of opportunities available and am amazed at the fact that ANYONE can find something to do to support our veterans, deployed and families. I have told many many people about the organization. I’m so blessed and SO proud to be anAngel.

Every couple of months I get a response from a soldier. It makes my day every time.

I have been a member for about 12 years. I started out as an Angel supporting one soldier at a time on an individual basis. That was very rewarding. Later I joined The letter Writing Team and am still going strong on that team. I enjoy writing to one person at a time and sharing about myself and my life here in Massachusetts. I feel it is important to connect with our men and women serving our country in far away places. I want them to know I support their mission and thank them for their service and sacrifice. I value their role for this country. I appreciate all they are doing to keep us safe here in the U.S.. They truly make a difference and they should know that. May they be well and safe during their military journey.

I love being a difference in someone's life , and thanking these men and women for their services! It's encouragement, hope , and a piece of home for them to look forward. The men & women that lead the different groups (writing, doing cards, packages & some other ones)are dedicated and are awesome, they answer our questions, they encourage us and sometimes it's that comfort that leads us to help others. I have been with Soldiers' Angels since it started in 2003. I have loved the experience, and have belonged to the DAT, CPT, LWT, LoL, WOV and CST (no longer on the DAT). I still correspond with service members I adopted 15 years ago! Because there is a level of participation (from as little as sending one birthday card a month) that would appeal to just about anyone, I think this is a great organization.
